Eleocharis rostellata Beaked spikerush

Cool season, native, rhizomatous perennial. Found in coastal salt marshes and in alkaline to highly calcareous interior wetlands, making it well adapted to wetlands with high pH conditions. Often found around hot springs; occurrence is localized to specific habitat types.
