Festuca ovina Sheep fescue

Cool season, long-lived perennial bunchgrass similar to F. longifolia but is more drought tolerant, has a more extensive root system and is native to many parts of North America. Very attractive grass with deep blue-green color. Often used in wildflower plantings and sometimes as a drought-tolerant turfgrass.
