Lupinus argenteus Silverleaf lupine

Low to moderate water requirement; full sun to partial shade. Perennial with blue or whitish-blue flowers; blooms June to September in mid to high elevation montane sites. Found generally on dry slopes or open, high elevation sagebrush flats. Closely related to L. caudatus. Lupinus argenteus ssp. rubricaulis is thought to be a hybrid of the two.
